Gary Todd Barnes

Gary “Todd” Barnes , 56, of St. Marys, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022 in St. Marys.

He was born on July 23, 1966 in Jeannette, Pa, a son of George and Patricia Krivda Barnes, who survive. Todd was married to Traci Wheaton, and together they shared 31 years of marriage.

Todd was a graduate of Yough Senior High School and then went on to serve his country in the United States Army as a generator mechanic.  He served as a Pennsylvania State Trooper, retiring in 2019.

Todd greatly enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors. He also liked going for bike rides, Jeep rides, and spending time on his boat with his family.  Over the years, he loved coaching his boys in sports and playing with his buddies Copperbear, Harper, Leo, and Miles, the dog he lovingly referred to as “the brown dog”. Todd will be fondly remembered for his big heart and ability to always be there for anyone.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he is survived by two sons whom he adored; Todd Barnes and his wife Brianna and Tyler Barnes, and a new grandson; Kason Barnes, all of St. Marys. He is also survived by three brothers; George Barnes, Jeff Barnes and Wes Barnes, and by a sister; Kelly Mullen.

Funeral Services are being held privately with the family.

There will be no visitation.
