Joseph E. Geci

Joseph E. Geci, 72, of St. Marys and formerly of Homestead, FL, passed away on Wednesday, December 27th, following a lengthy illness at the home of his cousin, Sally Geyer, where he resided for nearly three years.

He was born on June 19th, 1951, the son of the late Joseph and Florence Kronenwetter Geci.

He is survived by numerous cousins.

Joseph is the last member of his immediate family. He was a graduate of the Saint Marys Area High School, Class of 1969. Joseph lived in Homestead, Florida for more than 40 years before moving back to Saint Marys.

He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his stepmother, Annabelle. He was also preceded in death by two sisters; Judy Schneider in 1998 and Gloria Corn in 2021.

A Memorial Service for Joseph E. Geci will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home.

Family and friends will be received at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 10:30 AM until the time of the service.

Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
